Description

A top fermenting ale yeast with low sedimentation characteristics, highly recommended for the production of ales in open fermentation vessels, and for German ales. During fermentation, it will produce a large, firm head.


% Dry Weight: 94.0 - 96.5

Usage Rate: 50 to 80 g/hl

Fermentation Temperature: 53.6 - 77ºF, ideally 59 - 68ºF

Flocculation: High

Residual Sugars: 10 g/l at an apparent attentuation of 81%

Shelf Life: 24 months from production date. 7 days if opened.

Storage: Store in cool (< 50ºF), dry conditions

Total Esters: 23 ppm at 18ºP at 20ºC in EBC tubes

Total Superior Alcohols: 248 ppm at 18ºP at 20ºC in EBC tubes

Viable Cells At Packaging:> 6 x 10⌃9 /g
